How It Works
Our Live Monthly Classes
We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5:00 - 5:30 PM (PT). Every month you will receive a calendar invitation for our 30 minute live zoom session.
ANYWHERE, ANYTIME
All participants are muted so you are welcome to join even if you are late. Video is optional so feel free to join from anywhere, anytime.
THE CLASS
In the first 10 minutes I share a reading and teaching relevant to the season, building from the previous month. This is followed by a guided practice that awakens your heart and brings clarity and stability to your mind & body. We close with an intention for your practice between sessions.
Head & Heart Community
This Mindful Life has members all over the world. From every age and walk of life. We have kiddos and pets join frequently too! We gather once a month and practice together. There is no verbal participation on the call, yet there is a connection in sharing the felt experience at the same moment in time.
There are proven benefits to voyage with others, to know you are not alone but part of a collective whole. We are woven together in a beautiful tapestry, inspiring and reminding each other to slow down, breathe, and live fully.
As we breathe together, with the trees, we remember that we are made of love, a living breathing part of this exquisite earth.
Integrating Science and Spirituality
You may be wondering what tradition or religion I teach from. What I can tell you is the more I learn, the less categorized I become. My studies have led me to formal institutions, remote countries, mindfulness retreats, and western psychology trainings. I consult with shaman mentors, neuroscience experts, engage in home stays with indigenous communities, and learn from those closest to me every day. The primary focus of my teaching is on connecting to love through ancient teachings & evidence based strategies.
The modalities and teachings I engage are as follows: Mindfulness, Kinship Ecology, Buddhism, Mysticism, Psychology, and Neuroscience. I have dedicated much of my time and energy studying these teachings, yet will remain a student my entire life. I see myself as a fellow passenger, we are on this journey together. These teachings guide you back to your center, where your true wisdom lies. They support self-awareness, self-love, and connection with all those around us.
I see these practices as an act of social justice, for if we all practice compassion it will slowly spread to our family, friends, communities and beyond. Ultimately building a more compassionate world to leave for future generations.
